Thermal compensation is built into every sensor; you get a temperature coefficient of less than 0.1% full scale per °C, so seasonal swings don’t mask genuine stress changes. The slim, disc‑shaped body (typically 230 mm diameter, 6 mm thick) helps the cell conform to the surrounding material, reducing bridging effects that can distort readings. Signal output is via heavy‑duty armored cable, and each cell is individually calibrated with a traceable pressure‑to‑frequency chart.
